At Oftedal, our people consistently deliver high quality heavy civil construction services and projects safely.Responsibilities:Prepare bids and estimates for bridge and related projects.Reads project contracts, specifications, plans and other relevant documentation associated with the project.Manages bridge and concrete construction projects and makes recommendations to owner that improve construction methods, outcomes, safety and costs.Prepares and updates project schedules.Routinely inspects construction projects to determine correct sequencing of work and survey for potential hazards or safety concerns. Inspects work in progress to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds project specifications and company standards.Review project costs, production and schedules. Makes adjustments where marginal production and cost overruns occur.Travel to and from company projects.Qualifications:5 years of heavy-civil construction experience with major emphasis on bridge construction.Clean MVRDemonstrated ability to manage, schedule and coordinate activities associated with bridge construction.OSHA 30 training, and proven knowledge and commitment to safe work practices.Proficient organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in diverse work settings including outdoors in all climate types and seasons.Strong background and working knowledge of concrete and constructing heavy civil structures made with and of concrete.
