DirectPath, part of the CNO Finacnial Group family, is hiring a Sales Manager to support all facets of the benefits industry, health care and large group sales. In this role, you will be responsible further developing the broker channels in your assigned market and for developing new business through those channels with the DirectPath comprehensive suite of services.As a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:Establishing and leveraging relationships with Brokers who have clients with 1,000 to 25,000 employees.

Through brokers, Sell DirectPath year-round solution(s) to their self-insured clients.

Manage all aspects of the Sales process including; prospect generation & qualification, coordinate and lead meetings with prospects and brokers, presentation, proposal generation, negotiation & contracting.

Maintain account & opportunity status in Salesforce.com and ensure accurate opportunity forecasting. Keep current weekly pipeline activity and results. Attach all relevant documentation in Salesforce.

Leverage voluntary (worksite) benefits commissions generated through our enrollment services to fund or partially offset the cost of DirectPath services.

Work professionally and collaboratively with all DirectPath team members; including Account Management, Implementation, Operations, Marketing, and Management.

The Sales Manager’s position is well-suited for you if you have:A Proven track record of selling health care related benefits or solutions.

Strong broker/consulting relationships within your geographic area.

A hunter mentality, with the proven ability to sell to/through brokers and consultants.

Ability to follow and direct a prospect through a sales process.

A demonstrated ability to understand and follow a consultative selling approach.

The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize the actions required to accomplish day to day goals and objectives.

Excellent conceptual, writing, oral and presentation skills, with the ability to construct stories and content.

Qualified candidates will have:A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or at least 8 years of relevant work experience.

At least 5 years in employee benefit / voluntary benefits sales experience with proven results.

Ability to understand objectives of and sell to various personalities, roles, and committee members involved in a sale; C-suite, VP, Director, Manager, Strategy, Operations, and Broker.

Ability and willingness to travel 50-75% within your geographic territory.

Experience in a healthcare, health insurance, benefits field or related preferred.

An understanding the voluntary benefits commission offset model is a plus.

CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any location within the geographic territory of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska & Minnesota. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.At this time, CNO is not mandating its associates to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
