Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy School.Must be credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT/RRT, CPR certification, MO State license or eligible.Will need to have BLS certification and maintain it every 2 years.
Additional Info:The facility is a 90+ bed regional healthcare facility, serving the residents of northern Missouri.The position reports to the Director of Respiratory Therapy.The position is 36hrs per week, night shift and the hours are 7pm-7am.There is potential for overtime/extra shifts depending on volumes.The facility is offering an hourly rate that starts at $18hr for CRT and $20hr for RRT and goes up with experience.
Shift differentials are $1.00hr for evenings, $1.50hr for nights and $2.00hr for weekends. They also offer great benefit package that includes relocation/sign-on of 5K.
