Data Detective / Researcher (Rancho Santa Margarita)

Melissa Data is seeking a Data Detective for our Rancho Santa Margarita, CA location. The successful candidate will source address data and identity services worldwide.

Your tasks in data discovery will include creating a strategy for finding data sources, refining the search to focus on specific criteria and determining efficient processes to obtain data that meets the Melissa needs.

Candidates must have a computer background and be familiar with large data sets and SQL.

Requirements for this position include:

Experience working with data sets or data research

Familiarity with SQL

Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Research experience relevant to collecting a large range of original or secondary data

Experience in any of the following fields a plus:

SQL Server.

NoSQL databases.

Work in data parsing, record matching and/or database profiling.
