Hotel Housekeepers Needed (Lincoln)

Job Hours: Part-time

Compensation: $9/hour starting rate

Responsibilities:

-Greet all guests with a friendly acknowledgement and smile

-Handle Guest concerns and questions in a swift and professional manner

-Conduct Housekeeping responsibilities and cleaning effectively and efficiently

-Follow all checklists and assigned duties which are subject to change at any time

-Sort, wash, fold and put away laundry

-Establish daily task schedule from the occupancy and check-out list

-Inspect and turn mattresses regularly, replace dirty linens and make beds

-Clean floors, baseboards, windows, glass surfaces and ledges

-Clean sink, shower, tub, mirrors, and toilet

-Dispose of all trash and clean trash bins

-Clean and check appliances for functionality, including air conditioner TV/Cable, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, lights and lamps, hair dryer, sink and shower

-Restock linens, toiletries, and other supplies as needed, including extended stay Guests

-Clean hallways, stairways, lobbies, elevators, lounges, offices, storage rooms and dining areas

-Safely operate all cleaning equipment, appliances and chemicals

-Inform maintenance of needed repairs

-Keep inventory of cleaning supplies, room amenities and lines and partner with manager for ordering as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience with housekeeping

- Understanding of hotel best practices and guidelines

- Knowledge of hotel cleaning equipment and supplies

- Excellent customer service skills

- Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

- Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

- Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail
