Financial Analyst

DescriptionA distribution company located in Middlesex County is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This position will be responsible for reporting of financial information, profit & loss analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and the posting of monthly closing journal entries. Strong problem-solving skills

BS in Accounting preferred

Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Cognos experience

Oracle experience

Budget forecasting experience preferred

Posting Journal Entries experience

Financial reporting experience

Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized
