HVAC LEAD Needed ASAP!

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position will perform supervision and HVAC-related duties throughout the plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read, understand and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings and production specifications

Direct, supervise and train plumbers and HVAC or related workers on the production line.

Confer with Production Manager and Plant Manager to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or production problems.

Inspect or review production to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations.

Keep records of work assignments.

Requisition supplies or materials to complete assigned scope.

May perform various laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of plumbing and HVAC systems and equipment.

Follow and implement safety and quality control programs

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate for the Lead HVAC position will possess a High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in HVAC SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications, etc.

Knowledge and usage of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools

Basic math abilities

Mechanical aptitude

Strong problem solving and organizational skills

Uncompromising commitment to safety

Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with other team members
