Job Overview
A Production Team Associate for Artistic Composite Pallets (ACP) will assist in manufacturing and assembling our composite pallets. The Production Associate will help converting raw materials through a series of processes into a finished pallet. Activities include: batching raw materials, laminating, operating wood saws, coating, assembly, quality control inspections, and testing. The Production Associate will work closely with the Production Leader as well as other managers on the team. Initially all work will be on 1st shift. As we grow a 2nd and 3rd shift of production will be added.
Requirements:
High School education
2 years of working experience in a production environment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Good time management. Ability to be ready for work at the beginning of the shift.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and put together assemblies.
Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner.
General Job Duties
Ability to produce components consistently and accurately
Ability to run all equipment such as saws, drills, spray coating, and general assembly equipment
Demonstrate precise craftsmanship in all aspects of the job (fit and finish)
Willingness to learn
Operate Fork Trucks
Operate Coating Sprayer

Apply adhesives and Assemble
Use various Hand Tools

Provide Feedback on how to improve the pallet product and production workflow

Monitor, measure, and report production related process performance, general issues.

Ensure our pallets are assembled in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost, and function.

Quality control of the finished pallets
Leading, creating, and maintaining efficient processes in building pallets as well as managing workflow and quality
Fabrication as well as general repair and maintenance of ACP production equipment as required
Works from sketches/drawings to build subassemblies.
Repair and maintain production equipment and facilities as required.
We do not want you to work overtime, but based on new orders and delivery times we may need some overtime work occasionally.

Compensation: Salary $30,000-$35,000 based on experience
