3rd Shift Mon – Fri Midnight to 8am

This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment. Also, repairing equipment in all other areas of the plant facility to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Refrigeration equipment must also be maintained to enable a quality product to be produced and stored since temperatures are critical within the production. General upkeep of the building and outside premises must also be maintained.
What You Will Do
Maintain and repair production equipment and all phases of electric
Maintain refrigeration and Freon systems
Observe and diagnose equipment malfunctions and issues with PLC’s
Responsible for maintaining the maintenance shop and equipment
Design and fabricate specialty items needed for production and/or production equipment
Must perform the above mentioned duties in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have previous experience and/or education in electrical controls, programmable controllers, 480 voltage, hydraulics, pneumatics, air compressors, welding and metal fabrication.
Read schematics and blue prints.
Read and understand electrical and troubleshoot control circuits.
Assemble and disassemble production equipment.
Supply own basic hand tools.
Understand safe lifting practices and be able to follow instructions.
Understand lockout program and proper safety rules.
Physical Requirements: Bending, turning, twisting, climbing, stooping, standing and lifting of objects up to 70lbs
Work in elements such as flour dust, heat, and extreme cold conditions
