Web Copywriter Needed (Downtown St Louis)

Position Info:

Position Title: Web Copywriter and Account Manager

Company: Web Design and Company - St. Louis

Location: St. Louis, MO (Downtown West)

Reports To: Team Manager

Availability: Must be available in the next 3 weeks to begin.

Hours: Flexible. Pick your start time between 8 AM and 9:30 AM. 8 hour days mandatory.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Position Requirements:

You must have moderate to advanced experience in both copywriting production and account management. Candidates with a Degree in English or writing will have priority. SEO knowledge preferred but not required.

Job Description:

Handling potential clients via chat and telephone - gathering information, formatting and sending client info, scheduling follow-ups

Sitting down w/ potential clients who walk-in / Scheduling in-person meetings for potential clients

Creating third-party software accounts, descriptions/ pulling and naming images and logos, product, services, and bio menus, checking maps to verify and ensure target area

Meeting, scheduling, and discussing projects and content w/ clients

Working w/ development team on page layouts

Reviewing and analyzing competitors websites

Extensive keyword research, analysis, and implementation

Finding new and specialized directories, running directories through the proper tools/understanding domain/page authority and spam scores to select the best options

Researching, compiling, finding the proper content tone, and creating optimized and original content for websites of all industries (front-to-back) / including main services/ products, bios, service area, and more.

Developing and completing effective meta info (titles, descriptions)

Handling client relations via phone and email

Developing/refining copywriting guides

Reviewing and giving feedback on other copywriter's work

Creating copy templates and examples detailing best practices

Discussing, scheduling, and organizing projects and content expansions

Gathering billing info, answering client questions, taking messages

Writing and optimizing blogs and videos for clients

Proficient in navigating the back-end of Wordpress (training provided)

Familiar w/ utilizing basic HTML code or CMS shortcodes

Light experience with utilizing HTML (training provided)

Keeping track of client's keyword rankings through searches and brainstorming ways to improve results

Excellent general organization, keeping up with current company and client info in drive
