Ability to act calmly in stressful situations

Analyze problems in a high-pressure environment

Computer (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes)

Flexibility to meet schedule changes as necessary (nights, weekends, holidays)

Organizational

Parts experience for buying purposes

Prioritization

Problem solving

Communication – effective listening, speaking, and writing skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Physical demands and requirements include:

Constantly stand, handle, use repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers) and feel; frequently required to walk, reach, and lift; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.

Constantly lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift 11 to 30 pounds; and lift rarely 31 to 60 pounds.

Ability to hear and specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

SOME DUTIES:Provides support for the entire facility with focus on development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.

Performs scheduled inspections and maintenance, and troubleshooting of all material handling systems’ electrical and controls components.

Troubleshoots and repairs all material handling systems.

Responds to and resolves equipment issues in a timely manner. May require 24-hour availability for emergency response.

Assists in the purchase of spare parts and components necessary to minimize system downtime.

Contacts equipment manufacturers for updates, upgrades, and technical support information.

Maintains equipment maintenance and repair logs.
