Find your future with us.Boeing Talent Acquisition and Global Service Engineering Core Team - Integration is currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer 5 to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK; St. Louis, MO; Mesa, AZ; Philadelphia, PA; Fort Walton Beach, FL, Long Beach, CA; or Huntsville, AL in a hybrid capacity.As a subject matter expert in the area of Boeing Campaign and Proposal execution for engineering content the candidate selected will drive strategic continuous improvement projects supporting engineering integration for campaign activities in addition to supporting tactical day-to-day integration activities for active campaigns and proposals. This position will require strong interpersonal skills required to build and maintain close relationships with engineering and program leadership to accomplish the statement of work effectively and efficiently. The candidate selected must be agile and organized to be successful in meeting the needs of the engineering leadership. This position reports to the senior manager of Engineering Integration and Operations .Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrates engineering content of all campaign activity across engineering teams
  • Leads Impact Matrix Process to ensures that impacted teams are integrated when and where needed
  • Facilitate ESGP for engineering with additional emphasis on Gates 1-5.
  • Provide functional integration of engineering content (contracts, estimating, GS&M, SCM, GTO, etc.)
  • Manage campaign look-ahead activity to ensure that engineering is proactively engaged as required
  • Communicates RIOs and status to leadership
  • Attends reviews, gates and programs meetings to adequately integrate engineering content and teammates
  • Reviews engineering: basis of estimate, proposal content, and ESGP deliverables for accuracy and efficacy
  • Leads Engineering ESGP Health Assessments for respective programs
  • Communicates findings to leadership team and manages actions to completion
  • Primary Engineering focal for Executability Risk Assessments
  • Facilitate Engineering Start Right of new programs
  • Key integration Partnership with Program CEs and SEIT and BDS counterparts
  • Manages campaign look-ahead activity to ensure that engineering is proactively engaged as required
  • Authorized as delegate for Gate Reviews
This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Onsite when need to support meetings or tasks that cannot be accomplished outside of closed locations. This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 5+ years of experience in communication and presenting strategies at executive levels
  • 5+ years of experience in applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • 5+ years of experience working technical requirements
  • 3+ years of experience managing competitive domestic or international sole-Source and Competitive campaigns
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of Cross-functional Integration Experience
  • 5+ years of experience using the Enterprise Standard Gated Process Systems Engineering and/or Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT)
  • Experience with Integrated Support Planning and Management (ISP&M)
  • Experience with Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM)
  • Established BGS Engineering Relationship Network
Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standardRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
