Position Name: RN Director Medical SurgicalLocations: 2316 E MEYER BLVD Kansas City, MO 64132Duration: Full Time Permanent ( No weekends) Sign on bonus - $15,000 paid on first paycheck!Relocation: Case by Case Basis. Job Responsibilities:

• Manages the financial and clinical operations of the Medical Surgical Department that consists of 4 units with approximately 80 beds and 6 managers
• Recommends qualified competent persons to provide care
• Integrates department services with the hospital's primary function
• Coordinates and integrates services within departments
• Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services
• Supervises nursing staff and assures staff competency
• Develops, markets, implements, and evaluates new services and programs.
• Participates in outside source selection for needed services
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies
• Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for persons in the department

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Masters prepared preferred.
• Current State of Missouri RN license required.
• Certification(s) in area of specialty, BLS is required and to be maintained.
• Five (5) years current clinical nursing experience required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Supervisor, Charge Nurse or Clinical Manager required.
