Automotive Technician Mechanic

Job Description

This is dependent on the team members skill level. We work on all makes and models and perform repairs as simply as brakes and suspension part replacement up to vehicle diagnostic and engine repair.

A typical day consist of working on 4-7 vehicles; depending on the required repairs. The expectation being every car will have a complete inspection done to ensure there are no safety issues with the vehicle's systems.

The service advisors and technicians will be working closely throughout the day reviewing inspections completed on vehicles, customer concerns, and diagnosing vehicle problems.

Qualifications

The new team member will be expected to complete full inspections of tires, wheels, brake systems, suspension components, performance alignments, and perform part replacements.

If the applicant has experience with A/C, check engine light, drive-ability, and fuel system diagnostic the applicant will be highly sought after.

A master technician would immediately be reviewed for the position, but we are open to a more entry level applicant.

The applicant should have 3 or more years of experience performing vehicle repairs and completing alignments.

The applicant must have their own tools to perform repairs. An applicant with their own diagnostic or highly skilled tools will be better suited for the position.

ASE certifications are highly looked at. The new team member will be expected to have an ASE certification within the first 90 days of employment if the new team member does not already have one.
