The team and doctors of Owyhee Oral Surgery located in Nampa and Meridian are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our practice. Candidates will be working with a small number of providers between multiple locations in the Treasure Valley.
No nights, no weekends, no holidays, no call!
Job Description: SEEKING F/T CANDIDATE FOR OUR MULTI-OFFICE ORAL SURGERY PRACTICE. 2 YEAR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED, RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE ALL ASPECTS OF IN OFFICE AND HOSPITAL BASED PROCEDURES INCLUDING IV SEDATION, EMR PROFICIENT, BILINGUAL IN SPANISH/ENGLISH HELPFUL. KNOWLEDGE OF HOSPITAL PROTOCOLS MANDATORY. HOURLY SALARY AND BENEFITS BASED ON EXPERIENCE. RESUME/PHOTO/REFERENCES REQUIRED.
Job Duties (partial list):
Provide complete patient assessment, including vital signs, and post-examination procedures.
Gather and assess objective and subjective information from the patient, and documents these assessments in patient chart.
Assists providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedure, and follow-up care.
Execute medical regimens and nursing interventions as appropriate for the setting.
Patient health counseling and instruction, including meeting with family members and care-givers.
Medical reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, & education.
Operate office medical equipment.
Maintain medical supplies, inventory, & disposal.
Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA and HIPPA guidelines.
Follow-up calls for patients who have had procedures.
Run ER drills with Surgical Staff.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Completion of a 2 year associate degree or 4-5 year bachelor of science degree program including a state registration examination license to practice nursing.
Willing to consider entry-level candidates, 2 year experience preferred.
