Customer Service Collection Specialist (Missoula)

As an entry level Business Customer Service / Collections Specialist you will skillfully work with a specified group of customers reviewing their account, providing necessary documentation, making updates where necessary and performing extensive research while at the same time collecting past due invoices. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in Excel and Word with collections and/or customer service experience. We are seeking candidates who are able to work independently and communicate effectively to numerous customers throughout the work day.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Review existing accounts for past due status, research outstanding invoices and determine best course of payment.

Participate in collections and high level of customer service primarily over the phone and via email.

Research accounts and companies to determine history and status of account.

Interact with customers to provide information necessary to encourage prompt payment.

Communicate and coordinate with management team and customer best practices, accounting policies and procedures.
