We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift Supervisor (work schedule of Monday-Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pm) to support our growing and fast-paced team in Jeffersonville, IN. In this role you are responsible for leading a team to safely manufacture plastic products for the automotive and consumer appliance industries, with a goal of ensuring all customer expectations are met and all required procedures are followed. You will lead by example and have the ability to train, coach, and facilitate team members in proper procedures of safety, production, troubleshooting, and quality processes. Major Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day safety and supervision of employees while meeting the production schedule. Expected to optimize all resources and promote good employee relations. Promotes unity and teamwork across shifts, between plants, and among departments.

Actively promotes safe operations; responsible for the safety of workers and the proper use of appropriate PPE needed on-the-job. Accountable for up-to-date worker training. Identifies safety concerns, works with, and actively support, safety committee actions.

Ensures mold changes are accurate, safely completed, in accordance with current industry standards, that first shot produced meets quality standard, that job documentation is executed, proper work instruction used, and process, cycle sheets, and training records updated correctly.

Responsible for the overall housekeeping so that the entire plant (interior, exterior, all property plant and equipment) present a safe, clean, and organized work environment free of hazards.

Accountable for daily review, taking appropriate and timely action, and completion of all required paperwork and documentation promoting efficient overall operations and positive morale.

Basic Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED and pursuing a bachelors degree

4+ years of demonstrated successful experience in a similar position and environment showing applied knowledge of: injection molding machine maintenance, tool maintenance, process optimization efforts, implementing process solutions, machine based programmable controls / robotics, end arm tooling, operation of: conveyors, grinders, and dryers, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth process optimization knowledge. Working knowledge of: mold setting, quality inspection, inventory management material handling, ergonomics, types of materials, and TS16949 requirements

College degree and manufacturing related knowledge/experience preferred.
