· Responsible for operations of the Alcoeur Gardens at Brick and Alcoeur Gardens Toms River communities. Ensuring the staff are providing the best service possible.

Understands, embraces and works towards the successful achievement of the mission of Alcoeur Gardens and to develop a culture of compassion throughout the community

· Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and procedures and applicable laws, including assigning and directing work and appraising performance. Sets, maintains, communicates and holds staff accountable for high standards of achievement.

· Monitors staffing levels; ensures the provision of staff orientation and staff education; sets standards for qualifications of employees and establishes personnel policies; regularly reviews competence of staff; assures the maintenance of necessary personnel records.

· Ensures that an accurate updated census of the residence is maintained.

· Develops a culture of excellence; demonstrates leadership skills using managerial skills; serves as a personal role model.

· Establishes, monitors and enforces internal policies, procedures and plans to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements.

· Assists in the development of annual overall and departmental budgets; reviews expenditures monthly for comparison with budgets and departmental issues and find solutions to problems.

· Maintains confidentiality of all residents at all times.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for operations. Ensuring the staff are providing the best service possible.

· Send daily email summarizing the communication log of prior day

· Monitor cleanliness and safety of building daily

· Monitor outside grounds for cleanliness, aesthetics and safety of building daily

· Perform monthly QA of building aesthetics

· Monitor and ensure all licenses and certifications are renewed in timely fashion

· Monitor menus, food inventory, and all temperature logs in building

· Ensure monthly fire drills are performed with staff

· Point of contact for staff for everything except scheduling issues

· Monitor visitor book

· Recruitment of staff by posting ads in various locations for both buildings

· Follow up on orientation, training, termination process

· Order health care and household supplies for building

· Order office supplies for both buildings

· Create, schedule & monitor maintenance issues in building

· Act as a liaison between residents, families, staff and community

· Monitoring compliance with state regulations

· Implementing policies and procedures

· On Call 24/7 for emergencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be a Registered Nurse

Needs to be extremely organized, have a keen attention to detail and the flexibility to work with different aspects of a business

· Excellent clinical knowledge

· Outstanding communication and people skills

· Knowledge of industry’s regulations and guidelines, will train the right candidate

· In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles

· Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

· Able to make rounds, climb stairs, regularly push, lift or move up to 50 pounds.

· Able to see, hear, stoop, bend, and reach; able to smell odor in order to ensure resident safety.

· Be efficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Docs, Publisher, QuickBooks,
