The ultimate goal for this individual is to run the operation—leading top-level leaders, taking ownership over all financials, encouraging and coaching the team, and thinking for the growth of the business. In an initial training period, this leader will rotate through several Director level positions in order build relationships and gain experience through working alongside teammates in all areas of the restaurant—Hospitality, Kitchen and Drive-Thru. This leader must be able to think like an owner as he/she oversees key performance metrics, enhances the overall customer experience, creates and implements performance reviews, and develops a leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth. Long-term, this individual will have the opportunity to continue to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity or pursue becoming an Owner/Operator within the next 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Rotate through multiple aspects of the business to gain knowledge of the total operation
  • Serve in the operations through leading, coaching, and overseeing Directors, Assistant Directors, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Team Members
  • Manage overall financial performance: ensure goals are met, improve margins, and analyze costs (inventory/food/labor, etc)
  • Mentor, coach, invest in, and build relationships with diverse team of people
  • Own the customer service experience through achieving customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop a strong leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth
  • Celebrate successes while holding team members accountable for performance results
  • Ongoing evaluation of business needs and streamlining systems/processes for efficiency
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A North Boulevard is meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A standards
  • Meet regularly with leadership team and Operator to execute the overall vision

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree is required
  • 5-10+ years of experience in Management/Leadership
  • Proven track record of leadership experience (business, athletics, clubs, ministry, etc.)
  • High emotional intelligence and strong business acumen
  • Strong communicator able to effectively coach and give direction with enthusiasm, positivity, and energy
  • Driven leader with a growth mindset of continuous improvement
  • Passionate about achieving results
  • Systems and processes oriented
  • Ability to confidently make decisions
  • Go-getter, creative, and strategic thinker with the ability to think and create value for the business
  • Willingness and humility to serve others first and “get in the trenches” with fellow team members in a fast-paced retail environment
