Installer-Ironworks (Albuquerque)

Job Description

We are a security ironworks company looking for a full-time installer to join our team.

Install and repair our security and ornamental products, other duties may include work truck basic maintenance, weekly inventory, ordering parts, assist other installation or fabrication teams as needed. Update status on each individual job to Shop and General Manager on a daily basis. Be responsible for other special projects as needed.

Required Skills

High school diploma

Clean driving record with current, valid NM driver’s license, and able to meet company insurance requirements

Mechanically inclined with a demonstrated ability to understand and work with common power tools

Excellent communication skills– in person, telephone and written skills

Positive attitude with superior customer service skills

Safety minded

Punctual

Able to troubleshoot problems

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to use digital calendars and time clocks from your mobile phone

Respectful, good demeanor, professionalism, organized, accountable is a must

Must pass a background and drug screening

Must have basic math skills

Must be neat and clean in appearance, professional

Follow both written and verbal direction, the ability to read AutoCAD plans

Operate practical skills for using hand and power tools, Drill/Impact Drill, Hammer Drill, Reciprocating Saw, Jack Hammer

Welding and/or electrical experience is strongly preferred

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet

Must be able to climb and work from a ladder height of 12 feet

Upon hire, there is a 60-day probation period. At the completion of this probation period, the employee is eligible for health insurance benefits. PTO is available after 1 year. Trial compensation for the probation period will be re-evaluated at the 60-day mark. Other benefits may include employer-provided lunches on occasion.

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 /hour
