Cutter/ Bindery Operator

We are currently looking for hardworking and self-motivated individuals to join our production team for our cutter operator position.

POSITION SUMMARY

Set up, operate and maintain a machine to cut paper stock preparatory to finishing.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, WORKING CONDITIONS

Self Motivated and able to work alone.

Detail Oriented and deadline driven

Desired but not required at least 1+ year of Bindery experience in a printing company working in a folder, cutter, stitcher or operator role.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Perform basic mathematical calculations and ruler knowledge a must.

Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, Job Jackets, press imposition and rule-up sheets.

Must be mechanically inclined.

Stand and walk 95% of the time. (Safety shoes required. Company participates in cost.)

Extensive lifting and bending actions.

Physically capable of lifting to 40lbs.
