Commercial and Planning IT Support area requires a Web Developer to assist with web, windows, and/or BI support and maintenance of applications. They will be providing base support and project support for these areas. THIS POSITION IS REQUIRED TO BE ONSITE Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support, modify, test & implement various web and windows project and change requests.
  • Individual needs to be an expert in the technology in order to complete the programming work quickly and cost effectively.
  • Experience in the entire SDLC will be required as they will be working directly with business departments for requirements gathering and will create their own functional and technical specs and then continue on to the development, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Daily activities will include being assigned maintenance change requests, working with the business areas to further refine the specifications for the request, creation of functional & technical specs, testing (unit and business approval), implementing, and supporting the changes.
  • There is a possibility to do new development/project work as well.
  • Assignment:
  • Support existing Commercial & Planning Applications, including SOI, EOR, Queue, Legacy Order Entry.
  • These applications are business critical as they are all related to Order Fulfillment.

Minimum Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft Development stack: ASP.net, ASP.net Core, ASP.net Core Identity Security, MVC, SQL, C#, Bootstrap, Entity Framework, LINQ, JQuery, MS Visual Studio, JS, AJAX, TFS.
  • Excellent SQL Server skills including experience with SQL Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
  • Deep understanding of T-SQL, complex Joins, Stored Procedures, and Triggers.
  • Deep understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web: HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Understanding of common Object-Oriented programing concepts.
  • Experience and understanding of the full SDLC including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and working with stakeholders to test and implement the solutions you build.
  • Experience working on large enterprise applications.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Participation in at least two enterprise development projects
  • Office 365 Microsoft tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
VISA Status: Candidate must either be an American citizen or have at least 2 years remaining on work VISA Preferred Requirements
  • In addition to above: SSAS, Bootstrap, Classic ASP, VB6
  • Two years or more project lead experience or direct business contact.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration
  • Services and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional with 8+ years of web/windows development experience
  • Manufacturing or Steel experience
  • Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA (1709 or higher)
Education
  • Relevant 4 year degree or equivalent experience
