Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Mid Level Supplier Requirements Engineer (SRE) within the Systems Engineering function in Berkeley, Missouri. This unique role requires an understanding of engineering processes and the ability to communicate requirements into a contractually sound technical document.Position Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop statements of work and specifications for a variety of complex engineering systems.
  • Performs stakeholder needs analysis, technical measure definition, and requirements analysis, allocation and definition.
  • Develops and implements systems engineering processes for organizations within Engineering
  • Uses the structured requirements process to ensure requirements are clear, unambiguous verifiable and affordable.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • Experience developing requirements for complex systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
  • Experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
Typical Education/Experience:Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
