High volume The UPS Store location seeking motivated individual for full-time long-term employment! While this pandemic has resulted in layoffs and closed doors for many, we have been busier than ever and are in need of another set of hands to continue meeting the high standards set by both our customers and ourselves.

Necessary Skills:

Type at least 50 words per minute (ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE TYPE TESTED)

Capable of providing quality customer service

Ability to follow instructions without supervision

Learn and improve from criticism

Work on your feet in a fast paced environment

Ability to multitask

Must be organized, presentable, and punctual

Able to stand for the entirety of your shift

Able to lift 50 pounds unaided multiple times throughout the day

Beginning Daily Duties

Sort and distribute US mail for mailbox customers

Process and organize incoming packages for mailbox customers

Assist customers in the store with return packages

Assist customers in the store (and over the phone) with questions

Pack customer items per The UPS Store packaging guidelines

Maintain a strict cleaning schedule

Perform various other office tasks (copying, faxing and stocking etc.)

The Position

Again this is a FULL-TIME, LONG-TERM position being offered, as such, we expect full-time availability but unlike other employers we DO NOT send you home when it is slow so that you can earn your full paycheck. Store is not open on Sundays or in the evenings so you can count on having that time for yourself (all major holidays off as well)! Starting pay is 12$/hr for initial two-week training period, then 14$/hr after that. Once the training manager/store owner feels you can competently complete the vast majority of store tasks unassisted there is a raise to 15$/hr (typically 3-6 months). Training manager will be available in the store from 2:00-6:00 on Wednesday, June 3rd and Friday, June 5th for a quick meeting with applicants. If possible, come during those times, however, you may drop off your application and be type tested at any point throughout the week after noon regardless of manager's presence
