Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable future!Seeds Site Logistics Supervisor (2001289) – Lubbock, TXWhere the Chemistry HappensTo lead and facilitate the storage of bulk, unprocessed cotton seed and provide logistics of warehoused products to the BASF production facilities in our area. Perform key Supply Chain activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including warehouse planning and control, total quality management, equipment and facilities engineering, and material management. Manage work teams, provide training in "core skill" areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to planning, problem resolution, and process improvements.Formula for Success

BS in Agronomy, Seed Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Business/Economics or a related discipline

3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, cotton production/research, cotton ginning, or seed production

Critical and logical thinking ability, with planning skills

Proficient use of SAP, Word, and Excel

Knowledge of heavy equipment and mechanical aptitude

Ability to control cost and prepare budgets

General repairs of onsite equipment & buildings during the season and maintenance during off season

Prepare and help manage shipping, receiving, storage plans and follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s)

Collaborate effectively with employees to develop programs that result in positive improvements in work or take disciplinary action

Commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain a commercial license within 90 days of hire date
