We are in search of Junior Deskside support tech to join our existing long-term engagement at IRS within the Media & Publications Division. As a core member of the deskside team, you will play a valuable part in supporting daily user hardware and software needs across a broad spectrum of users, applications, and locations. You will support hardware and peripheral troubleshooting and upgrades as well as day to day user inquiries and one on one troubleshooting.You will become a valuable contributor to one of the largest government agencies. Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for supporting local Windows environmentsTroubleshooting of hardware and software issuesSetup and troubleshooting of iphones, printers, smartboards, laptops, etcBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.Your GPA needs to be included on your application and resume.US Citizenship RequirementsWorking knowledge of networking and hardware/software troubleshooting consistent with providing user assistance and desktop support for laptops and other peripheral devicesLeidos is growing!
