Sales Associate Full and Part Time

Mildblend Supply Co is looking for a full and part time Sales Associates at our shop in Wicker Park, Chicago. The candidates must have a love for fashion, textile, and high quality products. He/she must enjoy interacting with people, providing excellent customer service and communicating within a team. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn all aspects of our brand, and can take on responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Greet guests as they enter the shop, assist with anything and provide help if needed in a friendly, hospitable and efficient manner

Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions and store policy

Provide recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires

Create a warm and cozy atmosphere for our guests in accordance with the vision of the store by acting in a welcoming

and approachable manner during customer interactions

Operate a cash register and perform related tasks, including cash handling, credit card processing.

Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed by management and participate

in the designing of displays in windows and on tables

Unpack, inventory and label merchandise

Straighten, fold, refold and refold again clothing and other merchandise that is in disarray

Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, wiping surfaces, cleaning store windows, and organizing

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

1 year or more experience working in customer service (retail preferred)

Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when making sales

Calm, professional demeanor even when confronted by discourteous customers
