Part Time Dental Assistant (Reno)

PART -TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT NEEDED FOR GENERAL DENTAL PRACTICE

We are a new higher end dental office in South Reno looking for a team member who is passionate about quality patient care. Our goal is to treat our patients in a Relaxed and comfortable environment with quality services incorporating modern day technology to meet or exceed patient expectations.

Working hours will be Every Saturday 8.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.

Required duties include:

· Taking dental x-rays

· Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces and other equipment in compliance with

OSHA standards and CDC guidelines

· Sending and monitoring lab cases

· Following up with patients after treatment and providing relevant instructions

· Providing patient education and nutritional counseling to maintain oral health

· Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies

· Various office tasks as directed by the dentist or office manager

Education and Experience Requirements include:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Graduate of accredited dental assisting program

· Compliance with state dental practice requirements, such as x-ray requirements and OSHA

· Computer skills

· Dental assisting experience needed. At least 1 year.

Job Type: Part-time

Ability to work on Saturday required.

Eventually can select to work full time.

Salary: $14.00 to $21.00 /hour
