Kennel-Tech at Pet Resort (East Midland (close to Greenwood))

We are seeking a Kennel-Tech to join our team!

Basic Duties of a Kennel-Tech at Paws & Play

-Handling and providing services for mainly dogs (sometimes cats)

such as feeding, medication, cleaning suites, monitoring playgroups, etc.

-Providing excellent customer service to clients and their pets

-Self-sufficient, and independently motivated to complete duties

-Working with a team to efficiently complete tasks

-Maintaining a clean and safe work area

such as laundry, mopping, and yard maintenance, etc.

-Performed stock maintenance duties

Qualifications:

-Passion to help and treat animals well

-Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

-can work well independently as well as with a group of people

​We are looking for an energetic & polite person to provide a quality service to our clients and pets. Required availability Mon-Fri 2pm-7pm, and Sat-Sun 8am-12pm or 3 pm-7pm, and able to work 4-5 days out of the week. Pay will be dependent on past work experience. This job is part-time with more hours available in the summer usually. Prefer to hire 17 years of age and up. After 6 months will qualify for a 3% match IRA account through Edward Jones. We are looking for someone who wants to be apart of our team long-term.
