Senior User Experience Designers Location: 100% Remote Our client is looking for passionate Senior User Experience Designers who are searching for an opportunity to innovate and create a consumer-centered health care experience.Seeking a designer who enjoys cross-functional collaboration and learning from peers.You'll be partnering with the project teams during the discovery, ideation, design, and implementation to build best-in-class portals, websites, and help enhance existing products and services across individual insurance groups. During the design process, you'll be capturing user and business needs, and translating them into simple intuitive solutions by leveraging design systems and brand guidelines.Through teamwork with accessibility experts, researchers, development leads, principal architects, product owners, content specialists, you'll build a cohesive experience across various engagements.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Capture user and business needs. Support in facilitating weekly design sessions initiating conversation and capturing feedback to advance designs.
- Work on capturing qualitative and quantitative data through employing various research techniques, such as usability testing, RITE, contextual inquiry, user interviews, diary studies, heuristic evaluations, focus groups, and journey mapping.
- Building high fidelity prototypes and interaction documentation to support the development team.
- Utilize the design system library and interaction patterns as a guideline for designs.
- Initiate conversation
- Critique work-in-progress with other user experience designers and accessibility experts within the group.
- Support researchers in conducting usability studies. Leverage research findings to further advance designs.
- Advocate for the designing thinking approach to help establish a feedback loop model with the project team.
- Partner with the group leads to assist in building an "outside-in" view of the consumer experience.
- Look for learning opportunities to further advance the skillset.

- 5+ years of UX design experience
- Experience building low and high fidelity prototypes to communicate design and interactions
- Experience with various UX design and collaboration tools (e.g., Sketch, Axure, Figma, InVision, Miro)
- Portfolio of applicable user experience design project deliverables
- Exhibit a deep understanding of user-centered design and research practices
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Information Architecture, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Experience designing high interactions software, B2C applications
- Experience with medical, healthcare industries, financial, or eCommerce industries
- Experience working within Agile methodologies
- Experience in the practical application of accessibility standards and guidelines
- Experience designing for responsive web
- Knowledge of foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Visual design or illustration skills
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
