Job DetailsThe Senior Business Analyst acts as an holistic partner to the business community with an integrative approach to processes, data and systems across functional groups and sub-groups. This position brings value to programs and projects that deliver on company and IT strategy. This role has the experience and deep industry or technical knowledge to be an active thought partner and application visionary who shapes the technology demand among the business community.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Demonstrate the characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.2. Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements and their conversion to functional and technical requirements. Advocate and implement better processes, promote effective data utilization and master data management. Continually develop new process models to keep up with new and different business processes in the functional area.3. Analyze, document, and test technical development, logic, process flows, and specifications in context of projects as well as support of existing systems.4. Support business and IT leaders to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform at an enterprise level that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology (alignment to center of excellence).5. Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing, document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures. Promote user adoption and user experience through training, consultation, and support of existing functionality.6. Mentor and guide team members in adopting best practices and methodologies around business analysis and their functional area of expertise.7. Coordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, marketing, human resources, communications, or finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an analyst, preferably business analyst, with a focus on processes and relevant systems is required. Proven in-depth knowledge of at least one relevant functional area associated with application stack(s) and data.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira and Lucid Charts is a plus.
  • Demonstrated hands-on system administration expertise, to include tasks such as user set-up, evaluation of patches and updates, report creation, and workflow creation.
  • Familiarity with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Able to describe problems from customer perspective and present solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Understanding of basic user experience principles.
  • Experience with implementing components of a marketing technology stack to meet business needs.
Ability to initiate, nurture and maintain relationships with individuals in business and IT.
  • Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards around enterprise class client/server and web-based applications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business process concepts; includes process mapping, process design, and performance measurement.
  • Experience with business process modeling techniques such as flow charts, unified modeling language.
  • Understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Above average knowledge of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Demonstration of self-initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work with others in difficult situations, managing conflict and taking ownership of relevant projects.
