The SharePoint Developer applies current .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint foundation-based application(s). Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily maintenance of the existing application(s).
Top Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline
- Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development
- Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications
- Experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer
- .NET coding (C#, VB. Net)
- Experience with COTS software that is SharePoint based requiring back-end SharePoint coding and front-end configurations
- Working with COTS software that is SharePoint based requiring back-end SharePoint coding and front-end configurations.
- Develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, conferring with stakeholders
- Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Foundation and front-end application configurations.
- Troubleshooting software issues.
- Implementation of SharePoint Foundation-based workflows.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code
- Develop proof of concept examples.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- 5 + years experience programming SharePoint with SharePoint Designer. Other .NET coding (C#, VB. Net) desired.
- 5 + years Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
- Certification(s) in Microsoft SharePoint Development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.
- Must be motivated, independent, and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity using Lanteria HR Software is desired.
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must clear a criminal background check (includes fingerprinting)
- Individuals selected for employment with DOR must complete a tax check and remain compliant with Georgia tax obligations
