Recreational Construction and Synthetic Turf Foreman

We are a landscape contractor and Hawaii's leader in the synthetic turf and playground industry. Our company specializes in installation and maintenance of commercial and residential lawns, putting greens, surfacing(s) and playgrounds.

We are hiring a Foreman to oversee all phases of project activity. You must be willing to learn installation processes through on-the-job training. Must be highly organized, self motivated, and possess leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

-Manage job site (2-4 workers)

-Plan and execute daily/weekly tasks

-Maintain crew hours

-Communication with customers

-Advanced job planning: scheduling jobs and crews, ordering supplies, loading up trucks with necessary tools/supplies

-40+hours/wk

Requirements:

-Experience in job planning and crew management

-Driver's license / own transportation

-Excellent attendance record, reliable

-Fast learner, fast paced, hard worker

-Physically capable to assist with installations

-Ability to anticipate what needs to be done and to proactively take action

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction

-Excellent organizational and planning skills

-Attention to detail

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Additional knowledge preferred:

-Construction experience

-Landscaping and carpet laying experience

-Golf and playground knowledge

-CPSI certified
