The rugged CH-53K is designed to ensure reliability, low maintenance, high availability and enhanced survivability in the most austere and remote forward operating bases.The Deputy Program Manager for CH-53K Israel will report to and support the Israel CH-53K Program Manager in the mission to execute contract work as well as develop and acquire pending and ongoing heavy lift helicopter (CH-53K) business, specifically for our international pursuits in Israel. This deputy program manager requires executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to build teams. The candidate must be able to excel in dynamic work environment and be able to contribute in many different aspects of the program execution and capture.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:All aspects of planning, organizing, directing, communicating and controlling the cost, schedule, and technical performanceCommunicating status, concerns, and issues to the functional leadership team and external customers as applicableMonitoring and managing risks and opportunitiesCollaboration with other members of the Engineering and Operations functions to ensure work efforts are effectively communicated, coordinated and prioritizedEstablishment and conduct of a recurring business rhythm to review capture and program performance with MCS leadershipProposal and project data managementCoordinate and lead regularly scheduled meetings with customers as required by program requirementsMonitor budgets to ensure compliance to program plansMonitor program schedules and manage deviations to ensure on time deliveries and program successBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 years of professional experience; or 6 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.Desired Skills:Experience with international business with a solid track record handling diverse requirements that impact international pursuits and ultimate program executionExperience working through USG proposal and execution efforts, specifically FMS cases and with direct commercial sale (DCS) proposalsResults oriented with an expertise in building effective relationships and leading a highly skilled, diverse workforceAbility to prioritize, balance multiple tasks simultaneously and bring matters/issues to successful closure, all in the midst of changing prioritiesA detailed understanding of financial/business analysis, government contracts, technology/business planning.Strong oral, written, communications and organization skills.Strong eye for business and an understanding for how programs support overall business strategyRefresh and further utilize Full Spectrum Leadership through focus on both performance results and behaviorsAdept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
