Work locations include: Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Tacoma, WA; Hazelwood, MO; and Oklahoma City, OK. This job supports the strategy development of the Mobility & Surveillance division and supports the creation of aligned strategies across multiple fixed wing markets.The ideal candidate must be able to work across teams to generate key strategic analysis, possess an aptitude for critical thinking and also have the ability to present the insights from this analysis to senior leaders within the business. This role requires an individual to research and synthesize market & competitive intelligence across a variety of defense market segments to obtain insights and drive decisions. A successful candidate should have an understanding of the bigger strategic picture, but also have the ability to deep-dive into the key strategic and tactical issues of the businesses and divisions within BDS. Position Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for developing strategic alternatives to meet the defense business' strategic objectives including investment prioritization, development of technical roadmaps business case analysis and strategic partnerships
- This position plays a key role in the analysis, alignment and integration of strategies across Boeing Defense Space and Security's objectives, Functions and Business Units by collaborating with and cultivating key relationships with respective divisional strategy analysts, business unit and division leadership, and key functional counterparts in business development, engineering, and finance
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical field
- 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
- Master's degree in a business or technical field
- 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally
- Strategy, technical or finance background
- Experience the defense or aerospace industry
