We are looking for a Senior front end developer who has worked on large teams and has experience owning or working with the entire front end architecture including creating and managing asset pipelines, choosing appropriate technologies and libraries, and fully implementing features.Required expertise

  • React with TypeScript
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Experience with writing re-usable and performance friendly components (de-structure components so rendering cycles are not impacting user interaction)
  • Ability to breakdown ux designs to components
  • Solid engineer who can understand existing UI application codebase and quickly contribute changes to it (including refactoring experience to support re-usability and readability).
  • Understanding of how web application renders in browser and improve performance by reducing initial JS load size and intelligently lazy load bundles as needed basis.
  • Ability to understand external client javascript libraries (ex: Twillio, ZenDesk, Stripe or similar) and quickly integrate them into application
What you'll do
  • Build our API-First web and mobile apps using TypeScript, React, Storybook, MaterialUI, and ReactNative (optional).
  • Build reusable UI components and manage component libraries that can be shared across multiple UI applications.
  • Learn new technologies and patterns quickly and refactor large sections of code to improve performance, readability and re-usability.
  • Own entire front-end projects from beginning to end (this includes generating HTML/CSS from Figma designs and implementing actual functionality in UI framework and build and deploy using AWS stack)
  • Comfortable in writing performance friendly code and have ability to identify opportunities for performance improvements.
  • Work with AWS Cloud technologies and also work on Backend APIs using Python, PostgreSQL (if interested)
What we'd like
  • Expertise in Web fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
  • BS, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years developing, launching, and supporting complex, JavaScript-heavy web apps in a mission-critical production environment
  • Multiple years of real-world production experience on a large application using React
  • Expertise in React, ReactNative (optional) application development using TypeScript and MaterialUI
  • Experience building applications that use RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Practical knowledge of front end build systems like Webpack with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries
