Experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Multiple Shifts)

Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is hiring for an Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level C) to support the Team in Helena, Montana.Position Responsibilities:Performs maintenance on factory equipment.

Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.

Responds to requests for equipment repair.

Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.

Works under limited supervision.

Prioritizes and schedules daily work assignments based on production and customer needs and management priority to maintain production equipment utilization.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must be willing to work any shift assigned.

3+ years’ experience reading schematics/drawings used to troubleshoot production machinery, including servo motors, servo drives, VFDs, encoders, linear scales, etc.

3+ years’ experience reading mechanical drawings, and use to troubleshoot machine tools, including ball screws, lead screws, linear guides, box ways, gibs, linear and rotational axis accuracy, etc.

3+ years’ experience reading detailed equipment operating manuals and follow sequential repair instructions.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)3+ years’ experience with mechanical, electronics/electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

3+ years’ experience with mechanical NC Controls (e.g. Fanuc, Siemens), PLCs (e.g. Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fanuc).
