Experienced Female CNA overnight PCA position. Sun-Thur Franklin MA (Franklin)

Looking for a female C.N.A. (would consider HHA/PCA) who has a lot of experience with people who need a lot of assistance with care and using hoyer lifts and needs little training. Preferably is used to helping people who are bed bound.

My 43yo fiancé has a lot of pain and needs a lot of help with care. He has a nerve disorder from Guillain Barre and has been unable to stand or use his legs well for 2 years. He also has respiratory issues as well with COPD and severe sleep apnea. It would be great to find someone who also has a great sense of humor as he loves to make ppl laugh.

In regards to working overnight, I don’t mind if you watch tv, are on your phone, or doing schoolwork in between tasks, but you need to be awake as he needs his oxygen levels checked every hour when sleeping (2 hours when awake) and usually 2-3 nights of the week he is up overnight often needs bed baths or other assistance with care.

Payroll is through Tempus and position pays $16.08/hour and you must be able to pass a Cori

These are the things he needs assistance with;

bathing/grooming

dressing or undressing

toileting/incontinence care (urinal, bed pain)

housekeeping (dishes, mopping, disinfecting, other housekeeping duties)

laundry

meal preparation and clean-up

Transfer via Hoyer Lift into electric w/c (he doesn’t often get up unfortunately)

passive range-of-motion exercises

Oxygen Management (checking oxygen levels, Applying Oxygen as needed, Applying CPAP) (can train on oxygen tasks)

Assisting to go outside (he has an electric w/c) to smoke a cigarette

Hours are Sun-Thur start times can be 10pm or 11pm for 8 hours per shift. I can be a little flexible about the hours and would consider 4 nights of 10 hour shifts.
