This position will provide strategic direction and leadership for a large complex managed services program (staffing industry contingent workforce) that spans multiple business units and across multiple disciplines. Ability to define problems, collect appropriate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Establish vendor management capabilities based on leading practices and defined process for both Services Procurement and Staff Augmentation suppliers. The associate in this position will become the primary client-facing leader program-wide and will have the responsibility to provide both strategic and tactical support to achieve program objectives and SLAs, including, but not limited to:Overall program leadership and team management

Collaboration with client in establishing the program’s strategic direction / roadmap

Fully implementing the strategic direction, including oversight of VMS implementation activities

Developing and leading client communication initiatives, including monthly updates, quarterly business reviews, governance meeting topics, and quarterly executive-level reporting

Establishing a personal executive presence as well as executive excitement around the program

Leading the internal marketing / awareness of the program with various client BUs and end users

Developing and leading internal training with the support of program managers

Leader by example; implement strategies to achieve contracted service level metrics; manage sale and delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; budget accountability; goals and objectives management; maintain communication with key client representatives to ensure successful business development and ongoing account relationship

Client Responsibilities:Identify problematic client issues and suggest corrective actions

Participate in client’s workforce planning and relations

Proactively consult client on industry best practices and overall program strategy

Talent acquisition and recruiting operations

Management of the direct sourcing solution

Build and define supplier management capabilities, including spend analytics, supply market analyses, vendor profiles and labor strategies

Collaborate with client’s executive management to develop and successfully execute overall strategy and vision for program

Proficient with complex and sophisticated supplier negotiations

Advanced written communication skills, self-directed with preparation of client ready document and presentation development. Articulately communicates information and adapts communication effectively to the audience

Education:High school diploma or equivalent required

4 year College degree desired

Advanced degree preferred

Experience:4+ years of related consulting experience in a professional services firm environment strongly preferred

8+ years managing a complex services engagement

4+ years’ experience negotiating complex outsourcing deals with global suppliers

Minimum of five years of experience operating within and leading a large global MSP / VMS program or multiple programs

Demonstrated experience working with large outsourcing providers, understanding how their key business drivers and internal processes differ from those of traditional staffing / contingent labor

Experience working with the corporate talent acquisition and human resource departments
