POSITION SUMMARY:
Prepares Xactimate estimates for construction rebuild projects.
NOTE: Previous restoration construction experience is required, as is Xactimate expertise
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Reviews the project, determines the scope of work to be completed and prepares an Xactimate estimate for the project.
Reviews estimate and job scope to prepare proper paperwork for project commencement.
Maintains open communication with field representatives relative to the scope of work on a loss and prepares change orders and supplements as required.
Communicates with local management on any issues that may arise during the scoping and estimating of project.
Ensures that any quality issues related to estimatics are resolved for approvals in a timely manner.
Stays actively involved in project until completion and is responsible for collections on the job until all funds are received from insurance company/mortgage company/customer.
Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, follow-up and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information or feedback gathered through field communication
Market to potential customers including national accounts, adjusters, end users, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Expertise in Xactimate estimating software
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of production and processing. Experience with materials, quality control, costs and techniques for maximizing project accuracy and profitability.
Knowledge of a wide array of building materials in both residential and commercial applications
Knowledge of building and construction includes materials and methods needed to complete project successfully.
Ability to read and understand project specifications, plans and blue prints, as required.
Knowledge of design technique, principles and tools to complete project.

Competitive salary based on experience, plus commission
