Best Friend Nutrition - The Natural Pet Market is a family-owned natural pet food and supply store providing the best nutrition for dogs and cats while creating an environment that is enjoyable and informative for pet owners going above and beyond! We are seeking an exceptional individual who is interested in natural health and healing, loves dogs and cats, and loves to have fun while creating experiences for customers that are positive and rewarding. Our goal is to help people have the healthiest pets and we love what we do!

CUSTOMER SERVICE RETAIL ASSOCIATE

FULL TIME (32+ hours per week)

$16.00 to $17.50 per hour, DOE

Covid Safety in our store: We follow all state mandates

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The right individual is able to communicate effectively and read customer cues in order to provide knowledgeable and trusted advice and is great at working in a team-oriented environment. In addition:

▪️Provide excellent customer service

▪️Love of people and pets, and genuine desire to help

▪️Passionate about nutrition and health (especially for dogs and cats)

▪️Contributes to a positive, drama free, fun and happy work environment

▪️Able to work as part of a team and independently

▪️Great communication

▪️Experience with registers, basic computer, and basic math skills

▪️Able to work on feet for a full shift (with normal breaks)

▪️Flexible availability

▪️Attends all meetings and trainings

▪️Able to easily lift up to 40 lbs.

▪️18 years and over
