Job Description

Eurofins Test America is searching for a Air Equipment Preparation Laboratory Technician I in Burlington, Vermont

The Air Equipment Preparation Laboratory Technician I, using general laboratory techniques,equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with Eurofins TestAmerica’s Quality Assurance programs and SOP’s, supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Air Equipment Preparation Laboratory Technician I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

:

  • Fills air sampling equipment orders for client use in the field

  • Cleans air sampling canisters and other sampling equipment using established cleaning procedures.

  • Maintains all documentation associated with the cleaning and maintenance of all air sampling equipment.

  • Tracks air sampling equipment order requests from the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to ensure timely delivery of orders.

  • Perform basic repairs on air sampling equipment as necessary to maintain proper operation.

  • Orders laboratory supplies as needed.

  • Cleans work area(s) to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Assists other laboratory areas as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications

:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Burlington, VT are encouraged to apply.
