Specifically this position is on the Medicaid Valuation team. This is an individual contributor role supporting multiple states. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for valuation support for one or more Medicaid states: by developing monthly reserves, interpreting financial results, explaining variances from forecast and helping identify product and segment behavior to assist in the risk management of the state Medicaid population.

Assist in preparing monthly reports to upper management to explain results often involves additional complex actuarial analysis.

Responsibilities also include quarterly and annual statutory reporting for the actuarial determined liabilities.

Assisting with continuous improvement projects that can encompass many areas of expertise both within and outside of Medicaid valuation.

Qualifications Qualifications:

Requires a BS/BA degree; ASA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA); at least 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Proficient in MS Excel required; proficient in full MS Office Suite preferred.

Database experience preferred.

Healthcare experience highly desired.

Medicaid experience beneficial.
