Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) organization has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced On Board Systems Health (SH) Engineer (Level 3) to join the Reliability, Maintainability, and Systems Health team in St. Charles, MO for an exciting opportunity supporting various Missile Weapon Systems!Boeing Specialty Engineering is looking for engineers seeking to grow on-board weapon Systems Health capabilities with a desire to develop and integrate data analytics solutions to manned and autonomous platforms. This is an opportunity for candidates to work with industry leading Subject Matter Experts including Boeing Technical Fellowship leads developing next generation engineering solutions for defense and aerospace applications.Position Responsibilities:The engineer is expected to execute System Health including but not limited to:
- Provide System Health and Built in Test (BIT) technical support for various Missile Weapon System programs with minimal technical oversight.
- Ability to develop, document, maintain, and execute RM&SH program plans.
- Develop Testability models from schematics, FMECAs, ICDs and other available supplier documentation to assess compliance to customer fault detection/isolation requirements.
- Run scripts to translate these models into a form that is executable logic on the weapon system, and simulate intended operation.
- Work with the real-time software development team to integrate the resulting executable applications into the Mission Computing hardware.
- Technical Bachelor's degree (A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in an engineering, mathematics, or scientific field of study.)
- Experience in System Health and Built-In-Test (BIT) modeling/diagnostic analyses.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with MIL-STD-1629 - Procedure for Performing a Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis
- Experience with MIL-HDBK-2165 Testability for Systems and Equipment and MIL-HDBK-1814 Integrated Diagnostics.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
