Clinic Medical Assistant

Performs clinical and clerical tasks. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients’ charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. May perform clinical skills as competencied. Performs routine clerical functions based on knowledge of medical practice procedures and policies. Performs duties in accordance with the specific needs of the practice. Promotes best practices at all times. Responsible and accountable to know and understand OZH’s vision, mission, values, standards, policies and procedures. Works under the direction of the provider.
