HOSPITAL ENTRANCE SCREENER

JOB SUMMARY

Works under the supervision of the Security Manager. Involved in conducting health screens for patients entering the facility. Performs other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

• Conducts health screens of all patients entering the hospital.
• Completes accurate documentation of a screening results.
• Assists with transporting patients to and from appointments.

4. Maintains confidentiality of all personnel matters.

5. Actively participates and demonstrates effective Customer/Guest Relations.

6. Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.

7. Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to input date into computer accurately and quickly.

Interpersonal Skills: Works requires interpersonal skills to communicate sensitive business matters to individuals who have varying levels of comprehension, and problem solving skills necessary to interact with employees and the public.

Essential Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office setting

Essential Mental Abilities: Work requires ability to communicate effectively. Ability to think quickly and handle various projects simultaneously. Knowledge of software applications and the internet.Essential Sensory Requirements: Sufficient vision, hearing and speech to perform duties.
