Temporary Immigration Specialist

Exciting Part Time Immigration Specialist Role! Academic institution seeks an experienced immigration paralegal for a six month role. Potential for temp to perm!Communicate with HR administrators in departments, laboratories and centers, international scholars; Prepare and submit H-1B prevailing wage requests, LCAs, and USCIS petitions (using preparation software); Withdraw LCAs and Hs; Send notifications to HR/Payroll; Assist with preparation of other types of non-immigrant visa petitions/applications, as needed. Perform other, related administrative duties, as assigned. Qualifications, experience and skills required Bachelor's degree or equivalent; experience preparing non-immigrant petitions such as H-1B, TN, E-3; Strong communication skills and attention to detail; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Prior experience with J-1 exchange visitors a plus. Experience in an academic setting a plus.Limited work from home capacity - office located in Cambridge MA.
