Accountant

Job Description

• Performing and managing Daily accounting and bookkeeping according to IFRS and tax requirements;
• Invoice postings according to IFRS and tax requirements;
• Fixed Assets Register records maintenance according to IFRS and tax requirements;
• Customs clearance document controlling and posting, cooperation with customs brokers
• monthly accruals preparation and posting for month close
• Maintains list of vendors and timing relevant for reconciliation
• Assistance in tax and annual audits.
• Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences. Replacement takes place during the working time, and it is not considered as additional work;

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as accountant in a company with strong control environment;
• Successfully graduated at least bachelor program in Finance / Accounting / Business administration field;
• Good knowledge of local tax and accounting legislation;
• Good knowledge of IFRS and IAS;
• Fluent in Georgian and English languages (spoken and written);
• Advanced computer skills (working experience with MSC Navision and SAP will be a plus);
• Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment;
• Team Player
