Automotive Service Technician

Job Responsibilities: As an Automotive Service Technician, you will provide our customers with a full range of repair and maintenance services, including the following: Oil changes A/C system services Fluid changes Scheduled maintenance Maintenance inspections Brake services Steering and suspension services Battery or electrical services Tune-Ups Shock and strut replacement Exhaust system and muffler services Wiper blade changes

As an Automotive Service Technician, you must have strong mechanical skills, solid organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain repairs to customers in a friendly and understandable manner. Specific qualifications for the Automotive Service Technician position include: Minimum 3 yearsexperience with vehicle repairs; ASE certifications desired Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, welders, scanners and brake lathes correctly Own set of tools and/or willingness to purchase what is needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license
