Senior Enterprise Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect in Atlanta, GA.Essential Functions: Senior Enterprise Architect will architect and design high quality, efficient solutions using cutting edge cloud technologies Contribute to technical direction of overall system development Communicate overall architecture vision, technical strategies, and trade-offs across various levels within the organization Provide recommendations and technical guidance to improve performance, reliability, and reusability within the constraints of budget, resources, and business dependencies Lead business solutions and be a strong influencer that engages with internal stakeholders to drive product roadmaps in alignment with business goals Engage across teams in a capacity that ranges from assisting on in-flight initiatives, up to technical briefings and demonstrations of new technologies across the organization As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will aoordinate and lead cross-team initiatives Independently lead and execute on special projects Work with project team to overcome potential roadblocks to ensure project success Provide thought leadership Support organizational initiatives to advance our platform offerings Explore and stay up to date with emerging technologies, acquire knowledge and educate teams on these trends and technologies to accelerate the adoption Analyze the edge cases of a given proposed technical solution Senior Enterprise Architects learn about and maintain knowledge of the overall platform architecture Lead and partner cross-functionally to identify and mitigate complexity, costs, and risks, and promote reusability, scalability, extensibility and efficiency across product capabilities and solutionsREQUIREMENTS: BS/Master's in Engineering, Computer Science or other related technical field 7+ years of enterprise software engineering experience Experience with several programming languages; Java, Node.js, Python, C# is a plus Experience with open source software components Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch and AWS is a plus Experience with Data Processing Frameworks Experience with Spark is a plus Experience with Distributed Systems and Microservices Ability to lead and execute on projects that span multiple teams Ability to work independently on projectsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
